Two days ago I went to my local VideoClub to rent some movies for these Easter days so I can have something different to watch than the ussually easter movies (You know the ones that end like: Bible, 's life, Hur etc).
Besides the 3 movies I rented one was named "Kaena The Profecy" (the other 3 were: tron2.0, star ballz and monty pythons's Life of Brian).
At the back cover of the dvd box it was characterized as a movie based only on computer graphics that all comic, space, fantasy and computer maniacs should see. So I supposed it would be a "must rent" for me. I was right the movie was very very nice and it worth the 3 euros (*ouch*) I paid when I returned it. Here's the story of it:
Axis (the tree world)'s life is in danger. Its sap has almost all run out and its people's efforts to implore the gods are in vain. Kaena has strange visions and she is convinced that Axis is calling her for help. Kaena, a young girl with the heart of a rebel, will defy her tribe's taboos and the Grand-Priest's supreme authority. And so begins her dangerous journey to Axis's deepest roots. She is helped by a mysterious creature from another world. The frightening truth that Kaena will discover at the end of her quest will profoundly change her forever.
As the cover said and as I thought is truly a "must rent" movie
you will be faschinated with the graphics, the animation and the senario of this movie.
