I need help on steam

[shadow=red]When I play a server I started laggin like hell then I  get a connection problem. When I disconnect and reconnect it says that my steam ticket has expired. The problem is that I always play. Please help me.

hmm sounds like auto update problem to me ... Go to your games selection screen and manualy disable (by rightclicking each game and selecting properties) the "keep up this game up to date" feature . That way , you'll be able to play your online game , without steam downloading content in the backround


Also don't forget to set the corresponding rates for your connection type , for example :

For adsl 384k users good rates are

rate 7500 - 9000

cl_cmdrate 45

cl_updaterate 45




To find the proper values for your connection type you should check the tweak guides at Cs Central (Also known as Banana Central) and CS-Nation .

also i f u have nvidi graphic card check properties and set vertical sinc to allways off
set in game fps_max 100
and most of all  if u have hard prob try to run steam only when u wanna play cs ,avoid other programs like msn irc or any other tha can slow u down
 steam ticket has expired is an usuall prob by steam not by your pc try to logout and in again its nothing
