The Movies [game], lol

Is 'The Movies' any good, im not sure wether its online or not, ive seen it in stores a few times now, and its always caught my attention. Ive read reviews, and theyve been somewhat, confusing, as to what the aim of the game is, ive gathered its about making movies, but is that all there is to the game?

i always liked movies, so this is one of the few games that i bought (the rest i just warez them).

The marketing is a bit confusing. In essence this is strategy game. You control a studio and you try to make movies utilizing sets,stars. Sort of like theme-park games or tycoon games.

But also, you have a limited amount of control in directing a movie. Like this being a second, minigame. And you can also export the movie in short 5 min videos.

I was under the expression initially that the whole game was about that. Directing in-game movies. I didn't expect it to be a tycoon game, which was sort of a let down. But i got used to it and then got bored of it fast.

Aww, i was under the same impression, lol, i'm not a fan of tycoon type games, it takes too much work for my taste, with all the number crunching and stuff.
