Zombie Panic Source

I've been playing this game for about a month now, It's a Mod for Half life 2 (But if you have any source game you can download and play it, it's free), basically it's an fps, but it's sort of a sim of a zombie film. When the game starts you choose a team, either zombie or survivor (But you can spectate too), usually everyone picks survivor, if that happens the server randomly changes some survivors to the zombie team. If you're a survivor, you have to work through the maps objectives (most of the time though you just have to survive), like finding keys, then turning on the power, then hitting a search light and stuff. If it's a survival game, then you just have to get to a safe place, which is usually a room in which there beds, tables, lockers, chairs, basically anything that isn't a wall, and create a barricade, you can also nail planks over doors if you've picked up a red handled hammer, theres also a load of weapons scattered around the map, and ammo, you can drop ammo and weapons to share with your teammates to help you fight off zombies too.

However, if you're a zombie...
The only weapon you have is your hands, and a dash move to help you catch fleeing survivors, if you kill a survivor, he respawns as a zombie. One zombie on the team will have white skin, this ones known as "The Carrier", if this zombie hits a survivor, he has a 25% chance of infecting him (Sometimes the chance of infection changes depending on the server), and a few minutes later, he will turn into a zombie on the spot. Zombies also have the ability known as "Zombie vision", this allows them to see in the dark, and also highlights survivors in bright red so the zombie doesnt confuse them with other zombies, if a survivor is infected, he will show as green. Zombies, when killed, will respawn if there are any "zombie lives" left, usually each round will start with about 100 zombie lives, but it changes depending on the map.

The scoreboard is also fairly unique, Survivors will be able to see who's in the game room, but they will all show as survivors, so they wont know how many zombies there are or how many survivors are left, the zombies however, can see exactly how many survivors are left, and how many zombies there are.

I myself, think this is awesome, lol, so if you like your zombie movies, this is worth a look.

Heres a video which shows you how to play, but it doesn't really do the game justice, i'll edit this topic with some screenshots when i get round to taking some.
